Atrial fibrillation (AFib) is the medical term for an irregular heart rhythm. Anticoagulants are commonly used for treatment of non-valvular AFib. IQVIA conducted a retrospective study on non-valvular atrial fibrillation to identify the patient characteristics, adherence and associated healthcare cost and utilization of oral anticoagulant therapy in NVAF.
