Feras Mahdi is the Head of MedTech at IQVIA Southeast Asia (SEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) Regional Headquarters, where he oversees IQVIA's strategy and commercial consulting services in the MedTech space.
Prior to joining IQVIA, Feras was the APAC regional director for Medtronic’s Gastrointestinal business unit, where he drove strategic growth with key product launches, including first-of-its-kind AI-powered diagnostic devices. He was also the director at GE Healthcare Partners, leading award-winning large-scale transformation projects in both public and private healthcare provider sectors. In addition, Feras co-founded CamStent Ltd, a UK-based medical device company that manufactures bacteria resistant catheters.
Feras holds a Master’s degree in Bioscience Enterprise from the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge, as well as a Doctor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the American University of Beirut. He also completed the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the university.
Shen Leng Tan leads and advises clients across the Asia Pacific markets to accelerate business growth and commercialization success to derive shareholder value. With over 15 years of consulting experience, including a decade specializing in the healthcare sector, Shen has provided guidance to senior executives across multinational corporations, local enterprises, governments, start-ups and non-profit organizations across the region.
Shen started his consulting career with the Strategy & Operations Practice of Deloitte Consulting before joining a boutique Healthcare Consulting firm. Prior to joining IQVIA, Shen was one of the Healthcare Vertical Practice Leads for Ipsos, with a focus on business consulting in the APAC region.
Shen is recognized as a thought leader in the MedTech industry and is a frequent panelist at AdvaMed’s annual conferences. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the National University of Singapore and has received entrepreneurship training from the University of Pennsylvania.
Heidi, who holds a PhD in Medicine with a focus on HIV gene therapy, is dedicated to improving healthcare quality and outcomes. As an Associate Principal at IQVIA MedTech, she plays a crucial role in enhancing care delivery across the continuum of care.
Following the completion of her PhD program, Heidi transitioned to consulting and gained extensive experience advising clients across various industries, including pharmaceuticals, MedTech, HealthTech startups, oil and gas, telecommunications, and financial services. Her areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, market access, go-to-market strategies, strategic partnerships, and product development. Prior to joining IQVIA, Heidi worked at a HealthTech startup focusing on digital therapeutics to better manage patients with chronic diseases.
Anton's role involves providing clients with advisory services on commercial strategy within the MedTech space. His primary interest lies in the field of manufacturing and robotics.
Prior to joining IQVIA, Anton was part of a top-tier consulting company, where he advised clients on corporate strategy, public policy, and operational topics across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
Anton holds a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from HEC Paris and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from St. Petersburg University of Economics and Finance.
