A letter from the Editorial Board
We are in the midst of a remarkable moment for human health.
It is a moment built on the pandemic experience, but also on a rising tide of scientific discovery, data proliferation, and digital transformation. A moment where the opportunity to improve, to adapt, to progress is not only a vision, but also an imperative.
To get there, we’ll need deeper insights, healthy debate, and evidence-based thinking to create new solutions. To understand and embrace change. To sharpen our focus on what lies ahead.
But progress doesn't come from big ideas in isolation; transformation is almost never an individual endeavor. And so, we must also embrace cumulative improvement, collective adaptation, and exciting new intersections of expertise and skill to change the status quo and evolve how decisions are made.

IQVIA recently hosted a live two-day Information Summit called A Connected Data Blueprint for Patient Innovation. Throughout the event, attendees were able to learn, discuss, and ask key questions about a variety of topics focusing on evolving data trends, leveraging social determinants of health, and utilizing Healthcare Grade AI to find every patient. We also delved into the importance of having a robust data privacy, tokenization, and governance strategy while rethinking the approach to patient and healthcare professional (HCP) insights.
We hope you’re enjoying U.S. Progress Point, a curation of IQVIA's best thinking on topics and trends driving change, disruption, and progress in the U.S. healthcare market.
