21 de mayo de 2018 – Con motivo de la puesta en marcha del nuevo Reglamento General de Protección de Datos (RGPD) el próximo 25 de mayo, IQVIA, ha puesto en marcha Excellence Data, un servicio para facilitar su adaptación a las farmacias, que está gestionado por abogados especializados en legislación farmacéutica y de protección de datos personales. Este servicio, que contará con la colaboración de Farmacia y Derecho, compañía especializada en asesoría jurídica para las farmacias, ofrecerá formación y asesoría legal sobre protección de datos de acuerdo con el Reglamento Europeo.

La protección de datos personales es un tema que preocupa tanto a empresas como a usuarios, y es especialmente sensible en el ámbito de la salud por la naturaleza de los datos manejados. Las farmacias tendrán que adaptar sus sistemas y procedimientos antes del 25 de mayo de 2018. “Es importante para la farmacia no esperar al último momento y asegurarse de que los datos que maneja están protegidos bajo los más estrictos estándares”, afirma Daniel Torregrosa, Pharmacy Relationships Manager de IQVIA España.

En línea con la filosofía de los últimos años, IQVIA sigue apostando por la excelencia interna y de sus farmacias colaboradoras. Para ello pondrá a disposición de las farmacias que así lo soliciten una plataforma informática para el mantenimiento de documentación de compliance en la nube, contratos con terceros y documentos legales para los empleados, así como disclaimers legales de, entre otros, correos electrónicos y facturas. Además, las farmacias que opten por el servicio Excellence Data, obtendrán tres horas de asesoría legal online sobre materias relacionadas con la farmacia como traspasos, traslados, sanciones, laboral, e-commerce, redes sociales y marca, entre otros asuntos.

El RGPD es el nuevo código de privacidad que sustituye a la Ley Orgánica de Protección de Datos (LOPD) y tiene como objetivo regular de manera uniforme el tratamiento de los datos y reforzar la protección de los datos de carácter personal.
