Meet the challenge of changing stakeholder demands and increasing cost constraints with IQVIA's integrated technology services and analytics-driven offerings.
At the IQVIA Virtual Fusion 2023 customer conference this past June, presenters explored the transformational uses of artificial intelligence (AI) powered technologies and IQVIA’s Connected Intelligence (CI) platform within the life science industry. They shared insights on how these tools can empower quality and regulatory professionals to create positive, beneficial shifts to meet their organization’s ever-changing needs.
Fusion 2023 featured nine in-depth sessions over two days, providing a space for education and collaboration between experts and attendees. Each session was designed to provoke critical thinking and provide fresh, new ideas for solving today’s challenges. Although the event was held virtually, participants had the opportunity to tune in to these informative sessions from the convenience of their home or office while still making valuable connections with both peers and presenters.
The event presentations highlighted the opportunities and the power of CI through the IQVIA Safety, Regulatory and Quality (SRQ) platform. Alongside product demos and breakout sessions focused on quality and regulatory operations, the IQVIA team discussed the transformational power of AI in quality and regulatory operations.
The industry is being forced to reassess how to best use technology to support end-to-end (E2E) workflows within quality management systems (QMS). There are three drivers behind this.
With IQVIA’s AI-integrated CI, quality teams can leverage intelligent insights to drive quality management operations. The platform enables increased transparency and collaboration across functions, optimized speed and accuracy within quality compliance activities and improved resource utilization.
Connected regulatory intelligence is broken down into three key pillars:
The database of regulatory intelligence within a company may be comprised of several billion data points that need to be maintained. This is where AI comes in. This technology can have a key role in mining, coding, maintaining and driving insights in E2E workflows not able to be seen with a human eye. It can provide points, support, help and insights to push processes from transactional to transformational. AI can also harmonize internal processes as much as possible, and when combined with E2E CI workflows, it can truly drive transformation in patient care.
The human or augmented worker still holds the decision-making authority, but with the information that is gleaned faster, quicker and cleaner from AI systems, the strategic insights and operational activity of SRQ professionals could be improved.
IQVIA brings together data, technology and analytics into the Connected Intelligence platform to create extraordinary results to drive healthcare transformation.
