IQVIA at SCOPE Summit 2025: Week Wrap-Up

As the 2025 SCOPE Summit ends, we reflect on an incredible week of learnings, collaboration and drug development innovation. The IQVIA team was excited to be a part of SCOPE again this year, where we engaged with industry leaders, shared our expertise, exchanged ideas and explored new opportunities to advance clinical research.

Notable Sessions:

  • Clinical Data Strategy and Analytics Track: Melissa Mooney, director, eCOA Solutions Engineering, presented “Using eCOA Technology to Drive Endpoint Protection, Clinical Data Strategies, and Analytics.” She emphasized how eCOA solutions enhance data collection, management and review processes to ensure robust endpoint protection and improved clinical data strategies.
  • Budgeting and Resources Track: Zahiah “Zee Zee” Gueddar, senior director and commercial lead, Financial Management Suite, led a session on “End-to-End Financial Management: Challenges and Opportunities,” a discussion of how SaaS and tech-enabled services can streamline budgeting and financial management.
  • Clinical Supply & Logistics Track: Cara Woodruff, director, Product Management, IT Design and Development, presented “Mitigating Risk and Complexity in Cell & Gene Therapy Trials with IRT,” an exploration of how to optimize pre-trial and pre-screening activities and reduce trial cost and risk with IRT solutions.
  • Site Engagement & Enablement Track: A panel discussion titled “Helping Sites Succeed: An Industry-Wide Approach to Reduce Tech Burden” featured Nick Whitney, senior director, Trial Management, along with other industry leaders. They discussed strategies to reduce site tech overload and improve site efficiencies and study timelines.
  • Patient-Centric Trial Design & Inclusive Research Track: Katie Shaw, senior director, Patient Recruitment & Enablement, joined a panel on “Actionable Strategies to Promote Diversity in Clinical Research Participation,” to share insights and strategies to broaden patient representation in clinical research.

The 2025 SCOPE Summit was a resounding success, bringing together the brightest minds in clinical research to share knowledge and push boundaries on innovation to drive progress. As we move forward, we carry with us the insights and connections gained from this event, ready to implement new ideas and continue our mission to improve patient care.
