Feb 11, 2025

Today, we kicked off the 2025 SCOPE Summit in Orlando, FL., and the IQVIA team is thrilled to join industry leaders, researchers and innovators to explore the latest advances in clinical operations and research.

Before the official start of SCOPE, we hosted an IQVIA Technologies Innovation Day. This pre-conference interactive event was designed to tackle the key challenges across the clinical trial lifecycle and how technology can improve the patient and site experience. Highlights included:

  • Industry Panel: Panelists shared the challenges and advances in clinical trials from the perspective of the sponsor, site, and patient.
  • Roundtable Challenge: Participants debated topics including digital adoption, operationalizing patient centricity, clinical trial finances and improving sponsor-site-CRO communication in focused roundtables.
  • Networking & Demo: Attendees connected with industry peers, reviewed product demonstrations with technology experts and discussed the future of clinical operations to conclude the event.

This event marked the beginning of a week filled with several noteworthy sessions, networking opportunities, groundbreaking discussions and a chance to engage in thoughtful conversation with new and known industry colleagues.

The first official day of the conference was filled with several noteworthy sessions and hot topic discussions, including:

  • Opening Plenary: The day started with an inspiring session titled “The Future of Clinical Trials,” in which experts discussed the evolving landscape of clinical research and the importance of patient-centric approaches.
  • Clinical Data Strategy and Analytics Track: Melissa Mooney, director, eCOA Solutions Engineering, presented “Using eCOA Technology to Drive Endpoint Protection, Clinical Data Strategies, and Analytics.” She emphasized how eCOA solutions enhance data collection, management and review processes to ensure robust endpoint protection and improved clinical data strategies.
